For those new to the CWU, every 2 years the CWU Mid Wales, the Marches & North Staffs branch is required to hold a General Meeting.
At the meeting the branch elects the officers for the next 2 years, along with the branch committee and reps. Reports from the officers are presented along with the branch accounts.
This year we will be holding Branch Officer elections along with ones for the Committee’s Safety and Learning Reps – nominations are due in by Midday on 28th February by post to the Branch Office or by email to branch@cwumidwales.org.uk. Please make sure the person is willing to stand before nominating them.
If there is a contest for principle Branch Officer posts it will be by individual ballot of all members, Committee Safety Reps and Learning Reps will be agreed at the AGM.
Some refreshments are available, reasonable travel & caring expenses will be paid.
